Unit 1 Part 1 Review Activity 9/16/2015 Periods3/4

Periods 3,4:

Today in class we’ll be working in the computer lab on a REVIEW of Unit 1 Part 1 pages 8-63.

1. Work alone or with a partner.
2. Create a quiz using google-docs
3. Share the google-doc with partner and with teacher!
4. Refer to the pieces we have read so far this trimester (there were 8 including the 2 songs).
5. Create a matching quiz including author and title for all 8 pieces!
6. Create 10 fill in the blank questions related to important content in pages 20, 21, 22, 24, 33, 39, 48, 55 (be sure you have at least one question from each of the pages listed)
7. Create 3 short answer essay style questions related to any 3 of the pieces (you pick which 3). Note:  It should be possible to answer each of these three questions in 2-3 sentences each.
8. Create an answer sheet for all.
9. Print and turn in your quiz and your answer sheet.
10. If you have time remaining, use the time to draft your homework (Smoke Signals: How it relates to one or more of the pieces read so far in the text). NOTE: Since we have had some technical difficulties with the film, I decided to change the due date for the 250-400 word reflection essay to Monday instead of Friday).
