Today we'll work through the first few pages of the study guide packet. Read carefully and mark important details about the author Nathaniel Hawthorne, the setting (time and place), stereotyping.
On page 13 in the packet, record at least 3 adjectives describing each of the 4 main characters based on your reading of the first three chapters of the novel.

Homework: Read chapter 4 (either the regular or the no fear version) for tomorrow.
